Canada has the highest percentage of women in the workforce of any G20 country, according to OECD data, at over 74 percent, but four in 10 women say men have better career opportunities than they do and 42 percent say men have better access to jobs.
The issue most concerning women in Canada is equal pay to men with 49 percent citing this as their major worry followed by work-life balance at 48 percent and having the same career opportunities as men at 32 percent.
When asked about harassment, a third of Canadian women, or 33 percent, said they had faced harassment by co-workers with in-person and online, and 26 percent of these would always or mostly report this.
